Help Shape Support for International Care Workers
Welcome Well is creating a new Worker Steering Group made up of internationally recruited care workers who are currently in employment. This is your opportunity to share your experiences, raise any challenges you have faced, and help improve the support available to others working in care across the region.
We are looking for people who want to have their voice heard and contribute to positive change. You do not need any special experience—just a willingness to share your views and listen to others. Your feedback will directly help shape how services are developed, how employers are supported, and how international workers are treated and supported in the future.
You can take part either online or in person. In-person sessions will take place in Liverpool, Warrington and Chester (dates, times and venues will be confirmed). Each session will last 60–90 minutes and will be informal, supportive and focused on discussion.
To ensure we hear a wide range of experiences, we are asking people to register their interest by 12:00 on Friday 10 April. We will then select participants to create a diverse group based on the information provided. If you are selected and take part, you will receive a £15 supermarket voucher as a thank you, and those attending in person will also receive £5 towards travel costs.
