Bullying, discrimination and racism are never acceptable. They break UK law and workplace rules, and you have a right to be safe and respected at work.
Working hours and pay
Every care worker in the UK has a right to be paid at least the legal minimum wage for all working time, and to have safe limits on weekly hours and enough rest.
Eligibility check
Welcome Well is a free support service for internationally recruited care workers who are living in Cheshire or Merseyside and are working in adult social care, or are currently looking to continue working in care within this region after being displaced. Because this service is funded to provide local support, we can only help people who live in the Cheshire and Merseyside area. If you live outside this region, we won’t be able to offer direct support, but we will try to signpost you to other national or local services that may be able to help you.
